Who doesnt love Sees. The staff is always so friendly and helpful and the seasonal offerings do not disappoint. The feee sample is always appreciated!

Superior chocolates to all. California Brittle is my favorite. Chocolate almond clusters are remarkably delicious. Trader Joe’s tries with the brittle, but theirs tastes like industrial waste. See’s lemon drops are better than any out there. The tangy flavor lasts all through.

I love sees candies. I always make sure to give my friends and family a 1lb box for their birthdays. last week I walked into this sees candies in Ventura and was faced with two young workers who didn’t greet me and seemed to be very annoyed at me for no reason. I asked her if I could please get a 1lb of just scotch mellows in a birthday sleeve but before I could finish I was cut off by the employee telling me “don’t have those”. Taken aback from the rude response I assumed there was none in stock so I instead got myself a small bag of chocolates for myself. I got my husband two peanut butter hearts and two milk divinity’s for myself. When I got to my car i wanted to dig in and have a bite of my chocolate, sadly the worker gave me a milk Beverly and I was pretty sad.

While this place has a lot of nostalgia value to me as a place some of my relatives go to yearly to pick up some chocolate for Christmas gifts, the price of these chocolates is absurd. Just get Russell Stover for $20 ($10 if on sale or buy one get one free at $10). I personally think Russell Stover tastes a lot better.

I haven't been to Sees in I don't know how long. I've not had their chocolate since before I retired in 2019. But I went in with a list of the flavors that were wanted. I did my research before I went in knowing what to ask for. The clerk was very helpful and friendly. Walked out of there with a 2lb box with flavors I never knew existed.
